It's time to brand "YOU" with Social Media!
If you have a profile on any one of these networks you have already started to create your brand. Now let me ask you, does it reflect who you are as a professional employee? As a business owner?

5. You want to make a shift in your career in the near future and need to invent yourself in a new space.
6. You are looking to get the word out about your new business venture and you want to grow.

Social media is everywhere – and since there's no escaping,
you might as well learn to leverage it best for your personal brand!

Now more than ever, recruiters and employers are using social media to not only screen applicants, but to hunt for potential candidates just like you! Whether you like it or not, they are using social networks to screen job applicants such as yourself and they are doing it very early in the hiring process, so why not take control of your brand?
Okay, okay, I know what many of you are thinking, "I will just block my profiles" right? WRONG!!!!
Blocking your profiles means one of the two things:
1. You are hiding something (do we want to hire someone who is so secretive? What are they hiding?)
2. You cannot be found (the perfect opportunity may be out there waiting for you and you are not available).
Listen, recruiters and employers are trying to get a more personal view of you, rather than the resume-like view they have in hand or may see on LinkedIn. if you are controling your brand then you determine what they see!
